The Patriot Act

Like most governmental encroachments, the Patriot Act serves as an abuse against most people through invasion of privacy and surveillance, and it inflicts additional limitations on the freedom of the people to function in their ordinary course of life (banking, commerce, trade, etc.).  The Patriot Act is too broad, resulting in more abuse than protection of the people.
