Special Interest Groups
Special
interest groups generally do not represent the people. They represent a
corporation, union, or advocacy group which is an artificial entity and not people. State government was created by the people and for the
people NOT the corporations. State governments then created the federal
government to serve the states. Government
creates corporations and should therefore control the corporations. Lobbying or
influencing government by corporations is not in the best interest of the
creator of the government, the people.
The people are the only ones that can control or influence state
government and state governments are primarily the only ones that can control
federal government.
