China is a communist Nation and we should not reward communism. China has taken very capitalistic steps and do now have a people that are more free and we should re-affirm our friendship with a country that is peacefully yet slowly converting to a more free form of government. As much as a friend as China is our current trade policy is not mutually beneficial as we do not have trade on a mutually equal basis. A great deal of wealth has left our country and it is the American worker that has impart built the Chinese middle class by buying cheap Chinese products. China has also for an untold number of years devalued their currency at the expense of American Jobs. In rethinking our strategy with China's move toward a much greater embrace of capitalism we should seek to impose a reciprocal tariff agreement with China as we will with all our other trading partners.
